School Patron Saint Name Celebration

A thanksgiving event for the name of the school's patron saint was held on Saturday, March 19th 2022. Not only mass, but also an open house containing performances from SD and SMP Santo Yosef Surabaya. This event was held online via the Zoom application and started at 09.00 WIB which was attended by all students of SD and SMP Santo Yosef as well as teachers, employees and nuns. Before the mass started, all elementary and junior high school students were asked to sing the Indonesia Raya together. Next, Suster Judith gave some preface. The event was continued with a thanksgiving mass led by Father RD. Andreas Andri Noertjahja.

This Thanksgiving Mass ended at 10.00 WIB and continued with an open house. But before that, the principal of SD Santo Yosef said a few words and continued with Ma’am Margaretha Ilin Ubayanti as the principal of SMP Santo Yosef who also delivered her speech. The Open House event started with a cool performance from SD Santo Yosef. After showing several spectacular performances, the event continued by showing the achievements that have been achieved by students of SD Santo Yosef. At the last minute, SMP Santo Yosef also presented the achievements of SMP Santo Yosef students who were guided by 2 MCs, named Kak Dion and Kak Yosi.
