Being able to speak English will broaden our world. Mastering this language makes us able to communicate to any people around the world. English is an international  language, the main language in this planet. It is spoken by more than a half of population  of this world.  Although  learning  English sometimes   can be challenging and time consuming.  It is also  very  fun.

Knowing this,  Yayasan Tarakanita  conduct  a very interesting which is hopefully will  improve students’ motivation and  interest to learn this language.  Having  a collaboration with  ELC ( English Language Conversation)m, Yayasan Tarakanita  provides   Fun Learning  with a  Native Speaker. 

The seventh graders  of  SMP Santo Yosef got their turn on Monday, April 20, 2021.  Students  from  7A, 7B,  and 7C    learned how to  speak English confidently with  M. Thomas F Alphonso  from  England, UK.  The topic of the  learning is  My Idol. At  09.00   Mr.  Thomas  started   his class by showing pictures  of idols.  Students are invited to answer questions  abouts  their idols’  identities,   physical appearances and personalities. They seemed very enthusiastic to respond.  Before the meeting  ended  the students might ask any to  Mr Thomas F Aphonso.  For the students who were brave, Mam Ani and Mam Vero  were willing to give extra points.   At 10.35, the meeting  ended,  and all were  happy.   ( Veronica)
